Autobiographical Incident

Internet Changes Everyone's Lives

An Autobiographical Incident

By Hanna Joan H. Alusin

"The internet changed my attitude."

Ever since the year 2013. I had no idea what to do with my life. I don't know what to become and how much I want to entertain myself with. That was the time I didn't know too much about technology, aside from owning a computer yet not using it.

"Hanna, wanna play a game on my phone?" My Ate said.

She eventually showed me a game on her phone and I didn't know what to expect, so I decided to start playing the game. A few days later, I was becoming addicted to the game and that is where I was introduced into the world of the Internet. There, I started watching videos from content creators on YouTube and watching anime, as well. But as the years go by, I started to change my attitude towards other people. I became anti-social. Some people were asking me;

"What happened to you?"

And I said, "The internet changed me."

These days, people are being more into the internet and that, every person has became anti-social and not connecting more with one another in real life. That has become who I am, because of the internet, and everything is never as it seems.

An Open Letter to Parents

Open Letter to Parents

Whatever you must do, you must do the things like working and caring for the needs of your child. Things like money are important, so that your child can have their education in a school and needing the valuable things for them to continue on with their studies. Even if the kids today are focusing on the new technology and the internet, you, the parents, tell them to lessen their time on technology, and prioritizing their studies and education. Sure, there are ups and downs, arguments here and there, but know this, you are raising and helping your child to make them who they want to be.

But what will you be doing? Of course, you have to support your child, in any manner of guidance, chase down the dreams and wishes that they are trying to seek for the future. There would be problems about one another, but they'll always know that they have learned more than three things from you. Anything they do, they will certainly make a path towards it.

Vocational Fair 2017: Fashion Night

Vocational Fair 2017 Fashion Night

On November 24, 2017 at 6:00, was the Vocational Fair and Fashion Night at Asian College of Technology. When I first arrived, they were all setting up everything, but I have seen a couple of the students who are going to be modelling for the fashion night, and at first, I knew that all of the models would be wearing amazing and creative costumes and outfits, and that they were modelling perfectly on stage. The program was going on and the Grade 9 students were giving all of their looks and dance moves to the audience by giving them a little dance performance for them. Then, the principal herself gave a reminded to the audience about the new educational system, and that is why more programs are now happening at the school. After that, the students were now giving their best looks on the runway!

First up, the models were showing off in their nightwear outfits, or pajamas. Some of them I have already seen and worn, but the students wearing them are so good in them. Next up was the Summer Outfits, and wow, they are so ready for the summer time. All of their outfits were stunning and, at the same time, cute and cool-looking. The models really suit the summer collection outfits, and I gave it a 10/10. The male models were okay, but the female models were fabulous!!

Next up, there was... I think the formal collection. All of the student models were looking their best in their amazing formal outfits, and amazingly stunning too. The different outfits of the different models match their style and it was just perfect to be shown on the runway. Some of the outfits were for parties or hanging out with friends, but they are always so amazing and cool at the same time.

All of the male models were doing their greatest to give the audience some amazing and fashionable outfits. Then after that, a couple more performances were being performed before the next set of models would be modelling down the runway. And with that, the models were now walking down the runway with their amazing catwalks and fashioning the Egyptian and God and Goddesses styled-costumes. The models were giving their explanation of who they were dressed as and talking about that characters, and maybe the audience can learn a thing or two from the models. After that, it was now the presentation of awards.

Field Demonstration Experience

Field Demo Experience

Last September 30 was the Field Demonstration for the Preschool, Grade School, and Junior High School students. It was the day for all of the students to perform various dance performances to the please the Principal of the school, and everyone there was happy and excited to see their young students performing on the quadrangle at school. The theme was all about history, like the Independence Day, the Spanish Colonization, Japanese Colonization and many more performances.

The program started with the Preschool Department students, and their performance was so cute and adorable, the audience of parents loved the cutey's performance. Then comes up is the Grade one students, then Grade two, and so on and so forth until they reached the ending performance with the Grade 10/4th Year students of the Junior High School Department. It was so cool and amazing and really historical, because it relates to everything that have happened, but with the dancing and hip hop twist to everything.

After that, we performed the Fly High Jingle Dance and everyone were all there to perform the ACT Jingle, and everyone had a great time and I had a great time.

Now for my experience during the Field Demonstration, it was pretty fun and cool at the same time because we get recreate some of the scenes from the past times and give it a little touch of dancing into the performances of all the students and I had lots of fun all the time. With everyone there performing, it was a great time for all of us to do and we have gave it all we got to perform for Asian College of Technology's 29th Founding Anniversary, and here's to the next year's Field Demonstration!

Activity # 2.1: My Family (Part 2)

B. What are your most unforgettable memories? (Paragraph Form, 3-5 sentences)

My most unforgettable memory that I have spent with my family was during Christmas and New Year's Eve. We had so much fun together and being together all the time. The best times are when we took a picture together, playing together, lighting off fireworks, and ate a lot of food together as one big family.

We opened together our amazing and wonderful presents during Christmas, finishing off with tons of fireworks, and always having the good times to be the best times ever.

Nutrition Month Culminating Activity

"Nutrition Month Culminating Activity"

Last week, July 28, 2017, was our Culminating Activity for Nutrition Month, and theme for this year's Nutrition Month is, Healthy Diet, Gawing Habit - For Life!!! The first part that we did for the start of the program, we had our Nutri Walk. The Grade 10 went first, then Grade 9, Grade 8 and lastly, the Grade 7. All of the high school students went around the hallways and we all did our cheer to the fruit or vegetable that we represent.

Next up, we had our Zumba for the morning and we had so much fun during the Zumba. We were all dancing and moving to our heart's content and afterwards, we had the Nutri Chef Competition. Everyone were all doing their best to cook up the perfect meals for Nutrition Month and the judges and the principal were now trying the food that we created for them.

After the Nutri Chef Competition, it's finally time for the Mr. and Mrs. Healthy 2017. All of the students were cheering for their muse and escort for the competition, but sadly some of the representatives from each section didn't made it through the next part of the competition, which was the Question and Answer portion for the Top 5 representatives. In between the program, the Grade 10 performed once again their jingle since they were the overall champion of the jingle contest and then next up, was the Dance Club members, doing their dancing to the high school students and some other students. Afterwards, we were now dancing to our school's theme song to finish up the program and that was the best day for the best Culminating Activity this year.
